Editorial Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Her Health Brief publishes health and wellness content for women 35 and older. Because our readers make real decisions based on what we write, we hold our content to the standards below.

1. Evidence first

Our content is evidence-informed. When we describe how a supplement, habit, or therapy works, we base that description on peer-reviewed research, clinical guidelines, or statements from recognized medical bodies wherever possible. When evidence is weak, mixed, or preliminary, we say so plainly rather than overstating it.

2. Clear boundaries with medical advice

We are a publisher, not a medical provider. Nothing we publish is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a conversation with a qualified clinician. Articles that touch on symptoms, medications, or medical conditions include a disclaimer and, where relevant, an explicit prompt to consult a healthcare provider. See our medical disclaimer.

3. Review and attribution

Every article displays its author. Where an article has been reviewed by a medical or subject-matter professional, that reviewer is named in the byline. If an article has not yet been professionally reviewed, we do not pretend otherwise.

4. Independence from commerce

Her Health Brief earns money through product sales and affiliate commissions. Those commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions:

  • We do not sell rankings, "best of" placements, or positive coverage. Ever.
  • Products in our shop are selected by our editorial team on merit.
  • Affiliate links are disclosed on every page where they appear, consistent with FTC guidance. See our affiliate disclosure.
  • If we stop believing in a product we previously recommended, we remove or revise the recommendation.

5. Corrections and updates

Health research evolves, and so should health content. We periodically review published articles and update them when guidance changes. If you believe something we published is inaccurate or out of date, contact us - we investigate every correction request and fix verified errors promptly.

6. Honest marketing

We do not use fabricated statistics, fake countdown timers, invented testimonials, or inflated subscriber counts anywhere on this site. If we state a fact about ourselves, it is true.
